Activity - learning basic Android operating system features

The facilitator will demonstrate and then allow participants time to practice.

Participants can refer to the Alcatel tablet user guide (from the previous topic) on their workstation screens.
Verify you have identified and accessed the following features:

• Lock screen – swipe to right
• Home View – swipe sideways
• Home, back, background apps buttons (and understand what they do)
  
• The Common Settings (window)
  
• The Settings View (full screen)
  
• The Apps View
• Drag the Chrome app to Home screen. Remove it and then drag it back once more.
  

Now open an app (suggested : Camera, Gallery).
